Hand Lettering and Watercolor Fun

Life has been incredible in this season. Every day, I am challenged and growing at work, Vous Church is about to launch this week and Ray and I are completely in love... not to mention I recently found Korean Dramas! With so many moving parts, I don't really get that much time to do calligraphy or hand lettering for fun but with a few client orders coming in, I was able to let go and enjoy! Here are a few of my recent pieces.

Just a little Happy Birthday love

My husband and I moved to Miami in February and its been amazing! One of the tiny downsides of having moved is not having enough time to paint or do calligraphy as much as before but this week I got a chance to do a little something special for my boss' wife. Didn't it come out lovely? Not an original watercolor design but enough to wet my palette! More to come, promise!

Notes of Encouragement: Day 1

Inspired by last month's Women's Conference and to celebrate November, a month of showing gratitude, I started a 30 day project to encourage people that were on my heart. I decided to create cards from scratch, paint them (watercolor), or create intricate details with a craft knife, add calligraph the card and envelop and write a little note of encouragement.

Day 1

If you like this project, I encourage YOU to join in on the fun! Whether its a little handwritten note, a letter, a text or a call, find a little time to encourage someone. It'll give you life, I promise!

I can't wait to continue sharing this project with you!

encourage one another...with a little watercolor

This weekend, I went to our church's Women's Conference which was amazing and I was so touched by one thing that our pastor Maria Durso shared, "encourage one another." It inspired me so deeply that I wanted to make a few pieces about it.

But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness.
